Our firm is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist who will drive digital marketing objectives for both our clients and the firm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop social media content for CARTEL brand accounts

  • Lead client calls and collaborate with designers to develop effective social media campaigns

  • Work with designers on content for assigned client accounts, including both organic posts and paid social media campaigns

  • Give internal feedback and creative direction on social media calendars 

  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise in response to social media inquiries from designers and clients

  • Train junior employees and interns on social media content creation and social media monitoring procedures

  • Analyze social media metrics and make strategic recommendations to achieve client KPIs, including engagement, impressions and conversions

  • Create client-facing social media reports

  • Work with leadership to execute content marketing objectives of CARTEL firm

  • Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a natural sense of curiosity, comfort with giving and receiving constructive feedback, strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail. Other qualifications include:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Studies, Advertising or other related field

  • Required: 5+ years of professional experience working in social media

  • Preferred: 3+ years of professional experience working in social media in an agency or “in-house” setting

  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, including Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter, with a working knowledge of popular and emerging platforms, such as TikTok

  • Advanced knowledge of social media scheduling tools (Sprout Social)

  • Error free writing, editing and proofreading skills (both AP and Chicago Style)

  • Ability to establish KPIs and make data-driven decisions using social media analytics

  • Ability to multitask, deadline driven

  • People management skills and the ability to delegate tasks

  • Desire to work in a collaborative and inclusive team environment
