SCOTT GERICKE is a designer and creative director based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a rich career spanning both professional practice and academia. His professional journey includes roles at prominent St. Louis-based design firms, where he excelled in identity, environmental, and information design systems. His tenure as a design director at a global marketing agency connected him with global brands such as Coca-Cola, UPS, Logitech, and Anheuser-Busch InBev. Alongside his professional endeavors, Gericke serves as an academic instructor and now a professor of design at Loyola University New Orleans. His influence extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his role in bringing AIGA to St. Louis and receiving the Fellow Award in 2008. Currently focused on expanding CARTEL’s design consultancy in New Orleans, Gericke continues to leave a lasting impact on the design community through his innovative work and dedication to education.
