The Globe Building

The Globe Building is a technology and intelligence ecosystem located in the growing Downtown North Insight District of St. Louis. They provide prime, state of the art workspaces for companies from industries spanning: GEOINT, data center providers, telecommunications, and advanced manufacturing.

CARTEL has created a new web experience for the Globe Building that reflects the atmosphere of both the physical space and the industries they serve to help give potential tenants a better understanding of what it’s like to work at the Globe Building. The project focused on redesigning the building’s current website along with expanding on brand standards, messaging, and extensions to give the building a distinct voice and to differentiate it from its competitors.

With the strides the Globe Building has taken to remain at the forefront of workplace innovation and with potential tenants residing outside of St. Louis, the building required a web experience that reflected what it feels like to work at the most technologically advanced building in the city.

CARTEL honed in on the updated elements of the physical space that help define it as a contemporary landmark and a digital infrastructure powerhouse to create the new look and feel.

The updated brand elements include a refreshed logomark, an expanded color palette, a futuristic, yet utilitarian display typeface, and a new photo treatment that reflects the building’s mantra: Where the Power is Always on. The expansion of brand elements helps support the three pillars of the Globe Building: Big Power. Big Space. Big Fiber.
