When Maxine Clark, Chief Inspiration Officer for Delmar Divine, invited us to create the branding for Delish On Delmar, we drew inspiration from her love for animals. This led us to craft a vibrant world where animals and people playfully intertwine. For those unfamiliar, Maxine is the founder of Build-A-Bear, a beloved St. Louis institution.
Our collection of characters represented a diverse range of personalities, all united by a shared love of food. Subtle graphic textures combined with bold, vibrant colors created an iconic and unforgettable atmosphere, one that feels both intriguing and welcoming.
Delmar Blvd. is known locally as a street that divides neighborhoods—a division Delish On Delmar seeks to bridge. Conceived as a fresh fusion of block party, food festival, and makers market, Delish On Delmar honors the rich history of Delmar Blvd. while introducing new restaurants and businesses, alongside the growth of the Delmar Maker District and Delmar Main Street.
