Mengo Hospital Partners
A Visual Identity Rooted in Culture and Compassion for Uganda Children
Mengo Hospital Partner’s new visual identity is built on three core principles: cultural authenticity, modern professionalism, and compassionate care.
Mengo Hospital Partners (MHP) was founded in 2000 to bridge critical healthcare gaps in Uganda and Sub-Saharan Africa. Serving as a vital connection between Mengo Hospital’s leadership and the resources they need, MHP focuses on empowering pediatric care and advancing healthcare infrastructure. In 2023, MHP sought to reimagine its visual identity to reflect better its collaboration, compassion, and cultural authenticity mission while emphasizing its transformative role in Ugandan healthcare.
The rebrand needed to encapsulate MHP's dual focus: connecting local culture with global resources and addressing Mengo Hospital's urgent needs, particularly in pediatric care.
The rebrand successfully revitalized Mengo Hospital Partners’ visual identity, aligning it more closely with its mission and values. The updated branding now serves as a visual representation of the organization’s commitment to blending Uganda’s cultural heritage with modern healthcare innovation. Feedback from stakeholders highlighted the new identity’s ability to communicate MHP’s collaborative and compassionate approach to addressing Uganda’s healthcare challenges.
The rebranding of Mengo Hospital Partners goes beyond aesthetics; it tells a story of cultural connection and global collaboration. By integrating local heritage into its visual identity, MHP underscores its dedication to transforming healthcare in Uganda while honoring the community it serves.
